Before IPL 2026, Lucknow Super Giants team has visited Ramlala in Ayodhya. The entire squad of LSG reached the Ram temple to visit, team owner Sanjeev Goenka also bowed before Lord Ram and took blessings. In IPL 2025, Lucknow team had missed going to the playoffs.

About 40 members of the Lucknow team reached Ayodhya, where everyone worshiped at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple with full rituals. Team owner Sanjeev Goenka also shared a picture on social media, in which he can be seen with Rishabh Pant and other players of Lucknow Super Giants team.

The entire team including Sanjeev Goenka and Rishabh Pant bowed down in the court of Ramlala and took blessings and prayed for the success of the team. After darshan and puja, the team members also toured the temple premises. The team members also posed for photographs to make this moment memorable.

Giving information, Gopal Rao, special invitee member of Ram Mandir Trust, said that Lucknow team owner Sanjeev Goenka had reached here with his entire team for darshan. All the team members worshiped with reverence and took the blessings of Ramlala.

Indian Premier League 2026 is starting from 28th March. Lucknow Super Giants will play their first match with Delhi Capitals on 1 April. Till now BCCI has released the schedule of only the first 20 matches of the tournament. LSG will play its second match with Sunrisers Hyderabad on 5 April. Under the captaincy of Rishabh Pant, Lucknow’s third match will be with Kolkata Knight Riders on 9 April and the fourth match will be with Gujarat Titans on 12 April.
