Yash Dayal IPL 2026: Fast bowler Yash Dayal will not play in IPL 2026. Royal Challengers Bangalore have confirmed that Dayal will not field for the RCB team this time, but he is still under contract. A few days ago, a training camp for the players of Royal Challengers Bangalore was held, but Yash Dayal was missing from it. For this reason Yash came into discussion. But on Tuesday, the team’s Director of Cricket Mo Bobat told the media that Yash Dayal is currently struggling with some personal problem. He clarified that he is still under contract with the team.
RCB team is in constant touch with fast bowler Yash Dayal. It was decided with the consent of both the parties that it would not be the right decision for Yash to play in IPL 2026 at this juncture.
What are the allegations against Yash Dayal?
Yash Dayal has two serious criminal cases registered against him related to sexual exploitation. The first FIR against him was registered in Ghaziabad in July 2025, where a woman accused him of physical and mental exploitation by making false promises of marriage after being in a relationship for 5 years.
Shortly after that, under the POSCO Act, a minor girl accused him that the cricketer sexually exploited her after 2023. Allegations were made that Yash Dayal had a relationship with this girl on the pretext of advancing her career.
In the Ghaziabad case, Allahabad High Court had stayed the arrest of Yash Dayal. Whereas a POSCO court in Jaipur had rejected his bail plea in December 2025 considering the seriousness of the evidence and the ongoing investigation.
