Former Indian cricketer Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has shocked the cricket world by making big revelations. He said, “I have never consumed drugs in my life. Later in life, I have definitely consumed beer, I do not refuse that. But imagine calling a 19-year-old boy an alcoholic.”

Describing those memories, Shivaramakrishnan said that his parents even had to get an advertisement printed for his marriage. When he opened the post box after 2 weeks, there was not a single application in it.

The veteran cricketer said, “This meant that my image among the people had become so bad that no one wanted to get their daughter married to me.”

Sivaramakrishnan’s career

Laxman Sivaramakrishnan took 26 wickets in 9 test matches for the Indian cricket team. Apart from this, he also played 16 ODI matches for Team India, in which he took 15 wickets. In his first-class career of 76 matches, he took 154 wickets.
