Indian cricket team’s Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill has bought a luxury apartment in Mumbai. The price of this luxurious house is said to be more than Rs 20 crore. Gill is the captain of Gujarat Titans in IPL 2026, his IPL salary is Rs 16.5 crore. According to the report, Gill has bought this property from Jackky Bhagnani and Vashu Bhagnani’s company Pooja Leisure and Lifestyle.
26 year old Shubhman Gill has bought a luxurious apartment in a posh area like Juhu, which is located on Juhu Tara Road. According to the report, he has purchased the 12th floor of Pooja Luminaire Building. Recently many other players have also invested in property in Mumbai. Big players like Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav etc. recently bought property in Mumbai. According to reports, Suryakumar and his wife Devisha Shetty bought a flat worth Rs 7.18 crore in Deonar, while they had two apartments worth Rs 21 crore in the same building.
According to the news, Shubman Gill has paid stamp duty of Rs 1.24 crore and registration fee of Rs 30,000 for this deal. This luxury apartment is of 3369 square feet. However, the building is still under construction and Gill will have to wait a while to shift here. According to reports, this project will be completed by 2029.
Shubman Gill’s salary
Shubman Gill was in A grade in the 2024-25 and 2025-26 contract cycle, his annual salary was Rs 5 crore. Apart from this, he gets Rs 15 lakh for each Test, Rs 6 lakh for ODI and Rs 3 lakh for T20. Whereas players who play more than 75 percent of the matches in Tests get an additional Rs 45 lakh. Gill is currently the captain of Test and ODI.
Gill’s IPL salary from 2022 to 2024 was Rs 8 crore. Gujarat Titans retained him for Rs 16.50 crore for 2025, he has the same salary in IPL 2026 also. Apart from this, Gill also earns big money from brand deals.
