The film Dhurandhar 2 is making new earning records. This film of Aditya Dhar has made a worldwide collection of Rs 1,226.44 crore in just 10 days. Seeing its huge earnings, now some people of Lyari area of Pakistan have asked for a share in the earnings of the film. The people there have talked about constructing roads in their area with the earnings of the film.
People of Lyari asked for Rs 500 crore
In a video shared by a YouTube channel named Comparison TV, some local people were seen reacting to the success of the film. People said that if the film has earned thousands of crores then a major part of it should be invested in the development of Lyari. In the video, some people demanded Rs 500 crore and some demanded 70-80 percent of the total earning.
Sixth highest grossing Indian film
People of Lyari say that the condition of roads and infrastructure in the area is bad, hence the earnings from the film should be used for its improvement. Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar 2 has become the sixth highest grossing Indian film worldwide. The worldwide collection of the film has reached Rs 1,226.44 crore and has left behind KGF Chapter 2 (Rs 1,215 crore) and Jawan (Rs 1,160 crore).
Dhurandhar 2’s total net collection in India is 778.77.
According to trade website Sacknilk, on Saturday, the tenth day of its release, the film made a net collection of Rs 62.85 crore in India. The total net collection of Dhurandhar 2 in India has become Rs 778.77 crore and gross collection has become Rs 930.44 crore. Gross collection is the total income from tickets and net collection is the income after tax. On the tenth day, the Hindi version of the film earned the highest amount of Rs 58 crore. It collected Rs 3 crore in Telugu, Rs 1.40 crore in Tamil and Rs 0.30 crore in Kannada.
How much did the first part of Dhurandhar earn?
The first part of Dhurandhar performed brilliantly at the Indian and international box office and earned around Rs 1,307 crore worldwide. The gross collection of the film in India was Rs 1,005.85 crore, while the net collection was approximately Rs 840 crore. With earnings of Rs 894.49 crore, it became the highest grossing film in Hindi language.
