In the fourth match of IPL 2026, Punjab Kings restricted Gujarat Titans to 162 runs. Yuzvendra Chahal played the biggest role in preventing Gujarat Titans from scoring big. Chahal sent fully set Jos Buttler and Shubman Gill to the pavilion. Chahal got both these batsmen caught out. After losing the toss and coming to bat first, Gujarat Titans team could score only 162 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Only 34 runs were scored in the last 5 overs. Vijaykumar Vaishak also bowled brilliantly for Punjab. Vaishak took 3 wickets for 34 runs in 4 overs.
Gujarat had a good start. Sai Sudarshan and Shubman Gill added 37 runs for the first wicket. Sudarshan was out after scoring 13 runs in 11 balls with the help of two fours. Marco Jansen sent him to the pavilion. After this there was a partnership of 46 runs between Gill and Jos Buttler. Captain Gill was out in the 10th over with a total score of 83.
