Aditya Dhar’s post

Aditya Dhar wrote a post for the action team. He wrote, ‘For my action team of Dhurandhar – Ejaz Gulab, Si Young Oh, Yannick Ben, Ramzan Bulut and Vishal Tyagi. There is a very thin line between conviction and madness. In this film I crossed that line almost every day. I used to go to Ejaz Bhai with such ideas, which I knew seemed absurd. Like putting a person inside a big industrial pressure cooker, dragging someone with a noose around the neck behind a bike on a busy road. Or hanging thirty men upside down from feathers and spinning them around. These were not just ideas, these were problems which I handed over to him.

There were more than 400 stuntmen in Dhurandhar

He further said, ‘Every time his answer was the same, okay, let’s think of something. I still remember that moment during the shoot when I told Ejaz Bhai that we are falling short of stuntmen. And he replied very comfortably – ‘Now there is no one left, we have used almost every stuntman of Mumbai. More than 400 stuntmen’. Even today these numbers seem unbelievable to me. But so many people were needed for Dhurandhar.

Aditya further wrote, ‘Everyone did their work very meticulously and there was a lot of intimacy in it. Mr. Si Young Oh and his amazing team designed the action and choreographed the spectacular climaxes of both films. He put such life into the ‘Jaskirat Massacre’ scene. Seeing that scene one’s breathing stops. Yannick and Ramzan brought the control chaos to life on screen. Be it the madness of ‘Arshad Pappu Gangwar’ or the elimination of ‘Babu Dacoit’. Every frame of the film was amazing. Vishal (Baba SFX) He stood like a strong backbone. Ejaz Bhai was always present. With the support of Abbas Ali Mogul and his entire team, he continuously pushed to make every work even better.
