Cricket matches will be played at the Fair Plex ground in Pomona, California. The construction work of this ground has started, whose total capacity will be 10,000. Both the women’s and men’s competitions will be played on the same ground and let us tell you that a total of 6 countries of the world will participate in the women’s and men’s competitions. This ground is also the home ground of the Los Angeles Knight Riders team in Major League Cricket (MLC).

ICC Chairman Jay Shah said that this is a very historic moment that cricket is finally increasing its identity at the global level. Shah said that the objective of ICC has been to promote cricket and give it a special place in the world and being a part of the Olympic Movement is a matter of pride and it also brings with it dreams. Shah expressed hope that this ground will leave a deep mark on cricket in the USA.

Cricket was last played in the 1900 Paris Olympics. At that time only Great Britain and France participated in the cricket competition. But this time, 6-6 teams of men and women will be participating in each competition. Cricket matches in the 2028 Olympic Games will be played in T20 format. Let us tell you that this ground located in Pomona is about 50 kilometers away from Los Angeles and the cricket matches in the Olympics will be played from July 12 to July 29.
