West Bengal Assembly Polls: Record voting has been recorded this time in the West Bengal and Tamil Nadu assembly elections. More than 92 percent voting has taken place so far in West Bengal, while more than 84.98 percent voting has taken place in Tamil Nadu. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar Has described it as the highest turnout in these two states since independent India. Record voting in Bengal-Tamil Nadu

Heavy voting was also seen in various districts of West Bengal. 94.80 percent voting was recorded in Cooch Behar, 95 percent in Dakshin Dinajpur, 93.94 percent in Birbhum, 93.10 percent in Murshidabad and 92.94 percent in Malda. Apart from this, more than 90 percent voting took place in districts like Jalpaiguri (93.65), Jhargram (91.94), Bankura (91.59), Paschim Medinipur (91.90) and Uttar Dinajpur (92.87), which shows strong participation of voters.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of the state Mamata Banerjee He described this huge turnout as a sign in favor of his party. Addressing a rally in Kolkata, he said that the voting trends so far show that Trinamool Congress is in a position to win. He also said that he is not interested in any post or chair, rather his aim is to remove the Bharatiya Janata Party government at the Centre. Mamata also claimed that people voted in large numbers against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list and 32 lakh names were re-added due to their efforts.

Shah said – the sun of corruption has set

On the other hand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah Amit Shah After the record voting, he also launched a scathing attack on the state government. He said that this voting is a sign of “end of corruption” of the Trinamool Congress government. Addressing a public meeting in Balagarh, Hooghly, Shah claimed that the BJP will form the government with full majority and the problem of infiltration in the state will be ended.

He said that if BJP government is formed, illegal immigrants will be identified and thrown out. Record voting has made the election contest of West Bengal and Tamil Nadu more interesting, where all the major parties are claiming their respective victories.
