West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee said that the voting so far in the first phase of assembly elections indicates that Trinamool Congress is already in a winning position.

In a rally organized in Bow Bazaar area of ​​Kolkata, Mamata said that after winning the elections, she will take all the opposition parties along and conquer Delhi (central power). Voting is going on for 152 seats under the first phase of West Bengal Assembly elections. The Election Commission has said that till 5 pm, 89.93 percent voting was recorded in the state. Under the second phase, voting will be held on 142 seats on April 29.

The first phase of elections was not peaceful. Bomb attacks, stone pelting and clashes between political workers were seen in Murshidabad, Nawada and other places.
