The terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April 2025 shook the whole of India. At least 26 innocent tourists were killed and more than 17 were injured in this attack. Senior Pakistan journalist Hamid Mir also condemned the attack, saying that “firing on unarmed tourists in Pahalgam is very embarrassing and condemnable. Pakistan citizen Yasir Maqbool also strongly condemned Hamid Mir, condemning the Pahalgam terror attack and wrote that I strongly condemn the barbaric firing attack on innocent tourists. Terrorism is unacceptable in any form and anywhere.
