Because, MG has introduced India’s first multi new energy vehicle platform. Which has been named MG Adapt. This is such a technology that as soon as it is introduced, the entire equation of the car market is going to change. Let us understand what is so special in this platform which is enough to give sleepless nights to big companies like Tata and Mahindra.

Now 4 different types of vehicles will be made

Let us tell you that car companies have to prepare a separate platform for electric vehicles and a separate chassis for hybrid or petrol cars. Which involved huge expenses and a lot of time for the company. But this MG Adapt has a very versatile and modular architecture.

This means that using this single base, the company can make cars with four different technologies like pure electric vehicle, strong hybrid, plug-in hybrid and range extender electric vehicle. MG will become the first company in India to do so.

Know what are the features?

Whereas now to take hybrid cars to the next level, this platform has been provided with India’s first 10-in-1 intelligent electric drive unit and the world’s first electromagnetic dedicated hybrid transmission. It has an intelligent energy management system which automatically selects 4 driving modes according to the road.

At the same time, series hybrid is included to generate pure electric power for the city, parallel hybrid is included for extra power and engine direct drive is included for the highway. Apart from this, it also has REEV technology in which the wheels will always be driven by the motor and the petrol engine will only work as a generator to charge the battery.
