- CISCE Board will release the results of class 10th and 12th today at 11 am.

The wait of lakhs of students of Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) is going to end today. The board will release the ICSE (10th) and ISC (12th) exam results today on 30th April at 11 am. As soon as the result is released, students will be able to download the scorecard with the help of their roll number, unique ID and index number. The result released online will be provisional, while the original marksheet will have to be obtained by the students from their school.
How many students took the exam?
According to CISCE Board, a total of about 4.1 lakh students have appeared in the board examinations of the year 2026. These include about 2.6 lakh students of ICSE class 10th and about 1.5 lakh students of ISC class 12th.
How many marks are needed to pass?
To pass the CISCE board exam, students are required to obtain a minimum of 33 percent marks in aggregate. Along with this, it is necessary to score at least 35 percent marks in each subject. If a student does not score minimum marks in any subject, he will not be considered passed.
Compartment/Improvement Exam Process
The board has abolished the ISC compartment exam system from the year 2024. However, students will be given the opportunity for improvement exam. Students will be able to apply for the improvement examination from 8th May to 14th May 2026. This examination will be conducted on 15th June 2026 and its result will be declared in the last week of July. Students will be able to appear for the improvement examination in maximum two subjects.
Rechecking and Revaluation Process
If students are not satisfied with their marks, they can apply for re-checking of the answer sheet by paying a fee of Rs 1000 per subject from May 1 to May 4, 2026. The result of rechecking will be released in the first week of June, while the result of revaluation is likely to be declared in the last week of June or first week of July.

Where can I check CISCE ISC Result 2026?
- Students visit the official website of CISCE at cisce.org or results.cisce.org.
- Select ICSE or ISC Result link on the website.
- Then fill Unique ID, Index Number and Captcha and click on Show Result.
Check result through SMS
Students can also get results through SMS from mobile phones. Type for this. ICSE Results Unique ID/ISC Results Unique ID and send it to 09248082883.
View result from DigiLocker
After logging into DigiLocker app or website, students can fill the required information by choosing ICSE/ISC Marksheet option and download the digital marksheet.
Check result from UMANG App
After login to UMANG app, students click on Scorecard PDF link, fill roll number and download your marksheet.
