Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to bat first. The team had a bad start, Yashasvi Jaiswal (6) and Vaibhav Suryavanshi (4) were out cheaply. Vaibhav was bowled by Kyle Jamieson and Yashasvi was made his victim by Mitchell Starc. Riyan Parag batted in this match, he scored 90 runs in 50 balls with the help of 5 sixes and 8 fours. He was also dismissed by Starc. In the end, Donovan Ferreira played a quick inning of 47 runs in 14 balls, taking Rajasthan’s score to 225, which was a good total on this pitch.

Chasing the target, Pathum Nissanka and KL Rahul gave a great start to Delhi Capitals, both of them made a century partnership (110) for the first wicket. Nissanka scored 62 runs with the help of 33 balls, 3 sixes and 6 fours. Rahul scored 75 runs in 40 balls, in which he hit 5 sixes and 6 fours.
Nitish Rana scored 33 runs in 17 balls. In the end, Tristan Stubbs scored 18 runs in 11 balls and Ashutosh Arma scored 25 runs in 15 balls to give victory to Delhi Capitals with 5 balls remaining.
