‘I am the next target’, claims Raghav Chadha after meeting the President – ‘AAP government is taking revenge’

Politics has intensified regarding Rajya Sabha MPs who left Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). On one hand, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is meeting his MLAs along with President Draupadi Murmu to maintain the strength of the party before the Punjab Assembly elections. Meanwhile, other MPs including Raghav Chadha have also met the President.

On Tuesday (May 5), Raghav Chadha, Sandeep Pathak, Ashok Mittal and Rajendra Gupta, who left Aam Aadmi Party and joined BJP, came to meet the President and presented their views on the current situation.

‘Punjab government is working with a spirit of revenge’- Raghav Chadha

Raghav Chadha gave a big statement after meeting the President. He said, “After leaving AAP and merging with BJP, the way the Punjab government is working with a spirit of revenge, I have also put this before the President. I have told him that AAP is hatching a dangerous conspiracy.” He further said, “As long as you were obedient, you were cultured.”

BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha accused the Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab of working with a spirit of revenge and also gave examples of the same. He said, “First Harbhajan Singh was targeted, then electricity and water were cut off to close Rajendra Gupta’s factory. The limit was reached when an FIR was lodged against Sandeep Pathak on two serious charges.”

Raghav Chadha said in the tone of giving advice to AAP, “Stop this game. Till the time we were with AAP, we were good but as soon as we left the party, we became corrupt and wrong.” He claimed that the Punjab government of Aam Aadmi Party is misusing the machinery. This notice of the pollution department and the FIR are very worrying.”

‘AAP is a government for a few months’- Raghav Chadha

Raghav Chadha reminded AAP that they have government in only one state, they should know how many states BJP has government in. At the same time, Chadha told the Punjab officials, “Don’t be afraid because this government is only for a few months. Those going to Rajghat are acting with a sense of revenge.”
