Despite facing a big defeat in the results of West Bengal elections, Mamata Banerjee had refused to leave the post of Chief Minister. Amidst this decision, the Bengal Assembly was dissolved. On the other hand, Samajwadi Party national president and UP’s Kannauj MP Akhilesh Yadav reached Kolkata to meet Mamata Banerjee.
Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi has given a big statement on the meeting of Akhilesh Yadav and Mamata Banerjee. He said, “Akhilesh Yadav will definitely go to meet Mamata Didi. Right now many people are going to go. The dust of everyone who is going is going to be wiped off.”

Bihar BJP President said in a tone of warning to Akhilesh Yadav, “Next year there are assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, they are also going to face the same fate as the people of Bengal wiped out Mamata Banerjee. If you do not think in the public interest, then the public will remove you as soon as they get the chance.”

Elections in Bengal were held on the lines of ‘UP Model’ – Akhilesh Yadav
After meeting Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav alleged that the elections in West Bengal were conducted on the lines of ‘Uttar Pradesh Model’ through intimidation and manipulation. What happened in UP has been repeated in Bengal. Akhilesh Yadav told Mamata Banerjee, “You have not lost. The fight to save democracy will continue. We stand with you.” At the same time, Akhilesh Yadav congratulated TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee for ‘giving a tough fight’.
