Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may soon release the result of class 12th board exam 2026. Lakhs of students have been waiting for their results for a long time. According to reports, CBSE will release the 12th class result in this month. However, the official date has not been announced yet by the board.
After the release of the results, students will be able to check the results on the official website of CBSE, results.cbse.nic.in. Apart from this, the result can be checked through DigiLocker, UMANG App and IVRS phone service. The board has advised students to activate DigiLocker account in advance so that the digital marksheet can be easily downloaded as soon as the result is released.
When were the exams held?
CBSE Board had conducted the class 12th examinations this year from 17 February 2026 to 10 April 2026. After this the evaluation of copies was completed rapidly. If we look at the records of previous years, CBSE usually releases the results in the second week of May.
In such a situation, it is expected that CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 can also be released by the second week of May. In previous years, the board had released the result on 13 May in 2024, 12 May in 2023 and 6 May in 2019. Looking at the same pattern, this time too the results are expected to come soon.

Why is it necessary to activate DigiLocker?
CBSE Board has advised all students to activate DigiLocker account. According to the board, this year also digital marksheet, passing certificate and migration certificate will be made available on DigiLocker. If students activate DigiLocker account in advance, they will be able to download their digital marksheet immediately after the result is released. For this, the 6 digit security PIN given by the school will be required.
