Shanmugam and S.P. The rebel faction of AIADMK led by Velumani claims that about 30 of the party’s 47 MLAs are with them. Party’s Rajya Sabha MP I.S. Inabadurai on Tuesday said any MLA acting against the official whip would be disqualified under the anti-defection law.

UDF upset over delay in declaring CM in Kerala
According to PTI, the shine of UDF’s victory is fading due to the delay in selection of the Chief Ministerial candidate by Congress. Due to this, party workers and MLAs are avoiding coming in front of the public. IUML MLA elected from Kondotty assembly seat said this on Tuesday. TV Ibrahim, MLA elected from Kondotty, told a channel that wherever he goes, people ask him when the Chief Minister will be selected and he has no answer to this question.
