WB WBCHSE HS Result 2026: West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has released the result of Higher Secondary i.e. 12th Board Examination 2026. This time the result has been released through press conference. After which now the online link has been activated for the students at 11:00 am. A total of 91.2 percent students have passed in West Bengal 12 board. A total of 64 candidates are included in the top 10, including 56 boys and 8 girls.
This time a total of 5,71,355 students have passed the West Bengal 12th Board examination. This year, about 7.1 lakh students appeared for the Higher Secondary Examination of West Bengal Board. The examination was conducted from 12 February to 27 February 2026. After the release of the result, now students can check their score card by visiting the official website. This time too, the board has provided the facility to check results on many portals, so that students do not face problems due to excessive traffic on the website.
Result released in press conference
Before releasing the results, West Bengal Board organized a press conference at Vidyasagar Bhawan, Kolkata. In which important information related to pass percentage, toppers and examination was shared. It was told by the board that this time also the performance of the students has been better. Last year, the total pass percentage in 2025 was 86.15 percent, while in 2024 it was 84.93 percent. The highest pass percentage was recorded in the science stream.
These are the toppers of West Bengal 12th board
Along with releasing the 12th result, West Bengal Board has also activated the link at 11:00 am. This time, Adrit Pal of Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission has topped the West Bengal 12th Board examination. Adrit Pal stood first by scoring 496 marks out of 500. Apart from this, the students who secured second and third position are also from Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission.
East Medinipur was the topper district of Bengal
West Bengal 12th Board results have been released through press conference. This time, East Medinipur district of West Bengal has secured the first position in the board result, while Howrah has stood at the second position. The passing percentage of Purba Medinipur has been 94.19 percent.

- After this click on WB HS Result 2026 link on the home page.
- Now as soon as you enter the roll number and date of birth, the result will appear on the screen.
- Students can download their digital mark sheet and take a print out of it.

You can also download marksheet from DigiLocker
If there is a problem due to high traffic on the website, then students can also download their marksheet through DigiLocker. For this, students will have to login to DigiLocker app or website. There you have to go to the Issued Documents section and select WB Uchcha Madhyamik option. Digital marksheet can be downloaded after entering roll number and passing year.
Original documents will be available next week
Information has been given by the board that more than 55 distribution centers have been set up across the state for original copies of mark sheets, pass certificates and registration certificates. School representatives will receive documents from these centers next week. After this, original mark sheets and certificates will be given to the students through the school.
