The name of VD Satheesan has been announced by the Congress high command as the next Chief Minister of Kerala. He has also staked claim to form the government by meeting Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Thursday (May 14, 2026) at 7:30 pm. The Congress high command had approved Satheeshan’s name after much consideration and feedback.
