Cockroach Janta Party Viral Video: A crowd of people gathered on the banks of Yamuna in Delhi when some youth were seen cleaning the banks of the river by dressing up as cockroaches. Someone had a cockroach-like antenna on his head and someone had hung a poster of ‘I am a cockroach’ around his neck. At first people thought that maybe some funny act was going on, but when the video went viral on social media, the real reason behind it came to light.
This entire demonstration was done in protest against the recent statement given by the CJI, in which some unemployed youth, journalists and activists were allegedly called cockroaches. Now the youth have found a new way of protest by making this word a satire. This video is becoming increasingly viral on the internet and people are calling it the most creative test.
Youth became cockroaches to clean Yamuna
In the video going viral on social media, it can be seen that many youths wearing cockroach costumes are running a cleanliness campaign at Kalindi Kunj Ghat. Brooms, garbage bags and posters are seen in their hands. ‘I am a cockroach’ is written on some posts. In the video, youth are seen picking up plastic and garbage from the banks of Yamuna. During this time, the people present there were also surprised to see him.

Protest started after CJI’s statement
It is being told that this demonstration was done in protest against the alleged statement given by the Chief Justice during a hearing in the Supreme Court recently. It was claimed on social media that the unemployed journalist and youth activist had been called cockroaches, after which a debate broke out on the internet. However, later in clarification the CJI had said that this comment was not for all the youth. Even after this, ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ was formed on social media and memes and posters related to it are going viral.

Shadow Cockroach Protest on Internet
As soon as this video came on the internet, people started sharing it extensively. Many users said that they saw such a method of protest for the first time. Some people also wrote that those who were called cockroaches are the same people who are cleaning Yamuna. Some users called it a taunt on the system. One user wrote, this is not a cockroach but a real earth warrior. Another user said that this was the first time he had seen such a creative protest. One user wrote that even protests in India have now become a meme culture. Some users say that this method of protest is giving a big message even without violence, while some people are calling it just a social media stunt.
