CM Yogi will inaugurate this soon. This university, built in the name of King Mahendra Pratap, also has a connection with the history. Actually, King Mahendra Pratap did a lot of such works for the country as a freedom fighter, which people still remember. This is the reason why PM Modi and CM Yogi announced to open the university in his name.
26 new courses will start
According to the information, all such courses are being promoted in this university, which will give direct benefit to the students of the surrounding districts. Also, their future will be bright. Please tell that the construction work of the new building of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University (RMPSU) has been completed. From the new session, 26 courses will start here. The Vice Chancellor said that from this session, there is a plan to start 26 courses of graduation along with post graduation in the new building.
Jamia got a new option in place of Urdu
Significantly, Aligarh district is now becoming a hub of education. There are now one central and two state universities here. On Khair Road, the building of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University has been prepared on the road, in which 26 courses will start from the new session. Right now all these courses are being studied in Jamia Urdu located on Medical Road.
Prime Minister laid the foundation stone
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the university in Aligarh in the name of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh in 2021. However, earlier CM Yogi announced the opening of a state level university in September 2019 in Aligarh in the name of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh. After this, eight courses started in the year 2023 at Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University and 18 courses started in 2024.

Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University Vice Chancellor Professor Narendra Bahadur Singh said that we have received permission from 43 departments three years ago. As our campus goes on, after that new departments and new courses will be included. He informed that students of four districts Aligarh, Hathras, Kasganj and Etah are benefiting from the formation of this university. 382 degree college of these four districts has been recognized from this university. In this financial year, 15 degree college applied for recognition, in which seven degree colleges have been given NOC.
