Punjab Kings have defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 7 wickets. Captain Shreyas Iyer scored the first century of his IPL career and led Punjab to victory in a do-or-die match. In this match played at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, LSG team batted first and scored 196 runs. In reply, Punjab chased the target in 18 overs. The match winning shot came from the bat of captain Shreyas Iyer, who ensured Punjab’s victory by hitting sixes and also scored his first century in 51 balls.

Prabhsimran Singh also had a big contribution in Punjab’s victory over Lucknow. Prabhsimran Singh played a valuable inning of 69 runs in 39 balls. His innings came at a time when Punjab had lost two wickets at the score of 22. Prabhasimran also made a partnership of 140 runs with captain Shreyas Iyer.
