‘Are afraid of Gen-Z…’, Rahul Gandhi taunts PM Modi on CBSE result issue, also surrounds IT cell

The political turmoil going on in the country regarding irregularities in examinations does not seem to be ending. After the NEET paper leak case, questions have also been raised regarding CBSE Class 12 results and on-screen marking evaluation system. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on this matter.

Rahul Gandhi wrote on Twitter, ‘PM Modi-Pradhan duo has made another institution a symbol of rigging. For the first time in decades, such serious questions have been raised on CBSE board exams. 18.5 lakh children took the examination and for a week the complaints of OSM, wrong marking and testing irregularities have gone unheard and the Education Minister is stuck to his chair.

Rahul accused of wrong copy checking

He wrote, ‘A 17-year-old child, whose copy was wrongly checked, took to social media in the hope of justice. But, he did not get help, he got abuses – BJP’s IT cell called him “Anti-National”, called him “Soros’s agent”, called him part of the “Deep State”.

Rahul wrote, ‘A 17 year old child raises his voice for his future and this BJP turns him into a traitor. The truth is – Modi government is afraid of the youth and Gen Z, because they are now asking questions. And this government defames, intimidates and crushes those who ask questions. But listen, Modi ji – this youth, this Gen-Z will break your ego.

Jairam Ramesh also raised questions

Congress MP Jairam Ramesh also launched a scathing attack on the Central Government and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in the recently introduced ‘On Screen Marking’ (OSM) system in the CBSE 12th board examination. He said that this process has created uncertainty among lakhs of students across the country.
