But now ‘Raja Shivaji’ has fulfilled this dream. ‘Raja Shivaji’ has become the film to enter the Rs 100 crore club. According to Koimoi, the film collected a net of Rs 101.4 crore in 24 days. A business of Rs 119.65 crore has been done. This Marathi film has given new heights to Ritesh’s career.

Let us tell you that before this, Ritesh’s first film to enter the Rs 100 crore club was ‘Housefull 2’. This was a multi-starrer film. According to Bollywood Hungama, the film had collected Rs 106 crores. After this ‘Grand Masti’ had earned Rs 102 crores. This was also a multi-starrer film.
Ritesh’s ‘Ek Villain’ had earned Rs 105.62 crores. In this film, he was in the role of a villain and not a hero. The film ‘Housefull 3’ earned Rs 109.14 crore. Whereas ‘Housefull 4’ earned Rs 194.60 crore and ‘Housefull 5’ earned Rs 160.72 crore. The film ‘Total Dhamaal’ earned 154.23 crores. All these films were multi-starrers. Before Raja Shivaji, Riteish Deshmukh was seen in Masti 4. This film had flopped. The film had earned only Rs 11.52 crore.

Talking about ‘Raja Shivaji’, Ritesh Deshmukh played the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in this film. He himself has directed this film. His wife Genelia is also in the film. His 10 year old son Rahil has also debuted in the film. The film had stars like Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan. Superstar Salman Khan played a cameo role in the film.
