According to India Today, Paresh Rawal had told in an interview that after seeing Swaroop Sampat for the first time, he had said to his friend Mahendra Joshi, ‘This girl will become my wife one day.’ When the friend told him that she was his boss’s daughter, Paresh had replied, ‘Be it anyone’s daughter, sister or mother, I will marry her only.’
Paresh Rawal proposed in a frank manner
Paresh Rawal proposed Swaroop just three months after their first meeting. His proposal was also very interesting. The actor had told Swaroop, ‘I want to marry you, but don’t tell me that let’s get to know each other… because no one can know whom till death.’ Swaroop was a little nervous after listening to the actor and asked for time to answer him. However, later Swaroop Sampat said yes to him.

After dating each other for a long time, Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat got married in the year 1987. This couple has two sons Aditya and Anirudh.
