- Re-evaluation and verification of copies will start from June 1.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made a major change in the examination system. The Board has decided that from next year onwards, scanned copies of their evaluated or checked answer sheets will be made available to the students online. Its purpose is to make the entire examination process more transparent and reliable.
Till now, students used to get only marks and results, but many times children did not understand how the marks were given in their copy. In view of this problem, CBSE has decided to start this new digital system.
You will get direct access from DigiLocker
This entire facility will be linked to DigiLocker. This means that students will be able to see their checked answer sheet directly by logging into their account. This will not only increase transparency but will also make it easier for students to understand their performance.
OSM system is also being strengthened
CBSE is already using the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, in which copies are checked digitally. Now work is going on to make this system better and stronger so that any kind of mistake or technical problem is minimized. The board says that while working on such a large scale, sometimes small technical mistakes can happen, but continuous work is being done to improve them.

CBSE keeps an eye on technical glitches
CBSE has also admitted that technical glitches have come to light in some cases. Matching problems were found in about 20 answer sheets. However, the board says that such small problems are possible while examining such a large scale of about 9.8 million copies.
Re-evaluation of copies will start from June
CBSE has also indicated that the process of re-evaluation and verification of copies will be started from June 1. Its purpose is to ensure that the marks of the students are given correctly and if any kind of mistake is there, it can be corrected in time. This step will give the students another chance so that they can be completely satisfied about their result.
