LPG Rate Today on May 31: Today, Sunday, May 31, the prices of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder and 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder remained stable, whereas the prices of petrol, diesel and CNG have been continuously increasing for the last few days.
According to the latest data from government oil-marketing companies (OMCs), the price of a 14.2 kg gas cylinder in Delhi is Rs 913. In Mumbai, domestic cylinder is being booked at Rs 912.50, while in Kolkata its price has been fixed at Rs 939. In Chennai, cooking gas is being sold for Rs 928.50.

Will prices increase further?
The price of domestic gas cylinder was increased by Rs 60 in the month of March. At the same time, there was a huge increase of Rs 993 in the prices of commercial cylinders on the first of May. The prices of domestic gas cylinders have remained stable since March.
However, fluctuations in global crude oil prices due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia have prompted oil companies like BPCL, IOCL and HPCL to review LPG rates on the 1st of every month. If global oil prices continue to rise amid supply disruptions, pressure on oil companies may increase, which may impact domestic LPG prices in the coming months.
Tomorrow is the first of June. Oil companies conduct a monthly review of the prices of gas cylinders on the first day of every month at 6 am. In view of the global energy crisis, there is every possibility of change in the prices of commercial and domestic gas tomorrow morning.
