Gujarat Titans team bus caught fire after IPL 2026 final. This accident happened when the team was going from Narendra Modi Stadium to the hotel. All the players were inside the bus when the fire broke out. It is being told that the fire broke out due to short circuit. This came to light in time. Immediately all the players were taken off the bus safely. In the final match held in Ahmedabad on Sunday, Royal Challengers Bangalore won their second trophy by defeating Gujarat by 5 wickets.

Players stuck for 1 hour

After the IPL final, Gujarat Titans players were going from Narendra Modi Stadium to the hotel in the team bus, when on the way their bus had a short circuit and caught fire. According to the report, as soon as this was discovered, the first players were evacuated safely. The good news is that no player suffered any kind of loss. But it turned out to be a bad night, the players were stuck there for about an hour and then another vehicle was arranged and they were taken to the hotel.

Earlier, after winning the second qualifier, Gujarat Titans team reached Ahmedabad late due to the storm. Shubman Gill and team reached Ahmedabad for the finals on Saturday at around 11 pm.

Gujarat Titans made many mistakes

In the final, Gujarat Titans had to bat first after losing the toss. The pitch was definitely difficult for batting, but Shubman Gill (10) and Sai Sudarshan (12) were out after playing bad shots. The team made a big change in the batting order in the final and sent Nishant Sindhu at number three, who slowed down the game. Jos Buttler, who came at number four, was also seen struggling. Sindhu scored 20 runs in 18 balls and Butler scored 19 runs in 23 balls, from here GT started lagging behind.
