LPG Cylinder Price New Rates: Today, on June 1, the general public has once again suffered a severe blow from inflation. Gas companies have once again increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. In Delhi-NCR, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinders has been increased by Rs 42, due to which its price has now increased to Rs 3113.50.
Whereas in Kolkata the prices have increased by Rs 53.50, taking the price to Rs 3255.50. The prices of 5 kg FTL (Free Trade LPG) cylinders have been increased by Rs 11 and their price in Delhi will be Rs 821.50. The new prices have come into effect from today i.e. June 1st.
Prices increased again after exactly one month
Let us tell you that the gas companies have decided to increase the prices of commercial cylinders again after exactly one month. Earlier on May 1, there was a huge increase in the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. Then the prices were directly increased by Rs 993. Commercial cylinders are used by hotels, restaurants and small businesses. This means that now eating out will become more expensive for you.
Double attack of inflation: After petrol, diesel and gas, now the prices of pulses have spoiled the kitchen budget.
However, it is a matter of relief that at present there has been no change in the prices of LPG domestic cylinders. The price of 14.2 kg domestic cylinder in the capital Delhi is still Rs 913. This has provided relief to lakhs of families who are already facing the brunt of inflation.
Prices increased due to global energy crisis
It is noteworthy that this increase in LPG prices has been done due to the global energy crisis, because due to geopolitical instability in West Asia, there has been a huge rise in the prices of crude oil. This shows that these days India is facing huge pressure due to supply disruption and increased expenditure on imports.
