The results of JEE Advanced 2026, one of the top engineering entrance exams in the country, have been declared. Shubham Kumar, the student who secured All India Rank 1 in the examination this year, has inspired lakhs of students with his achievement. Shubham, who hails from Gaya district of Bihar, performed brilliantly and stood first and proved that strong intentions for success are bigger than any circumstances.
Journey from small town to national level
Shubham Kumar belongs to an ordinary family of Gaya district of Bihar. The financial condition of his family was very ordinary, but education was always given priority. From the very beginning, the family tried to provide better education and learning environment to Shubham. This support and confidence inspired him to set big goals.
Showed special interest in studies since childhood
Shubham was interested in subjects like Maths and Science since his early days. He consistently performed well during his school education and remained focused towards preparing for competitive examinations.
Systematic preparation led to great success
While preparing for the engineering entrance exam, Shubham made regular study and time management the main part of his strategy. He prepared by dividing the syllabus into small parts and concentrated on practicing continuously.
Got confidence from JEE Main
Shubham’s performance in the JEE Main examination held before JEE Advanced was also very impressive. This success gave him confidence and he took his preparation for the Advanced exam more seriously.

After his achievement, Shubham gave the credit for his success to his parents, teachers and guides. He says that the trust of his family and the guidance of his teachers remained a source of inspiration in difficult times. This support kept motivating him to perform better continuously.
Dream of studying in IIT Bombay
Now Shubham’s eyes are on the upcoming counseling process. His goal is to study Computer Science Engineering by taking admission in IIT Bombay, one of the prestigious institutes of the country.
