If you are preparing for a government job and want to work in a court, then there is good news for you. The Society for Centralized Recruitment of Staff in Subordinate Courts (SSSC) under the Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued a notification for clerk recruitment in the district courts of Haryana. A total of 1265 posts will be filled through this recruitment. The application process has started and candidates can fill the online form till 23 June 2026.
How many posts will be recruited?
Under this recruitment drive, appointments will be made on a total of 1265 clerk posts. In these, separate posts have been reserved for general, SC, BC, EWS, ex-servicemen and disabled categories.
Who can apply?
The applying candidate must have a graduation degree from a recognized university. Along with this, the candidate should have basic knowledge of computer. It has also been made mandatory to have Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in matriculation or above studies.
What is the age limit?
The minimum age for recruitment has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age at 42 years. Scheduled Caste and Backward Class candidates will get 5 years relaxation as per rules, age will be calculated as on January 1, 2026.
How much application fee will have to be paid?
Male candidates of general category will have to deposit a fee of Rs 1200. For women candidates of general category, this fee has been kept at Rs 875. Whereas SC, BC, EWS and ex-servicemen category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 710. Disabled candidates of Haryana are exempted from the application fee.

How will the selection be done?
Candidates will be selected through Computer Based Test (CBT), Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and document verification. However, the final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination. Computer test will be qualifying only.
What will be asked in the exam?
In the written examination, questions will be asked from General Knowledge and English subjects. The exam will be of total 100 marks. Negative marking will also be applicable for wrong answers. To pass the exam, candidates will have to score the prescribed minimum marks.

- New candidates should first register and then login and open the application form.
- Fill all the necessary information asked in the form correctly.
- Submit the fee online by uploading passport size photo and required documents.
- Submit the form and keep the print or PDF of the application form safe for future use.
