The applying candidate must have a graduation degree from a recognized university. Along with this, the candidate should have basic knowledge of computer. It has also been made mandatory to have Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in matriculation or above studies.

What is the age limit?

The minimum age for recruitment has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age at 42 years. Scheduled Caste and Backward Class candidates will get 5 years relaxation as per rules, age will be calculated as on January 1, 2026.

How much application fee will have to be paid?

Male candidates of general category will have to deposit a fee of Rs 1200. For women candidates of general category, this fee has been kept at Rs 875. Whereas SC, BC, EWS and ex-servicemen category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 710. Disabled candidates of Haryana are exempted from the application fee.

How will the selection be done?

Candidates will be selected through Computer Based Test (CBT), Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and document verification. However, the final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination. Computer test will be qualifying only.

What will be asked in the exam?

In the written examination, questions will be asked from General Knowledge and English subjects. The exam will be of total 100 marks. Negative marking will also be applicable for wrong answers. To pass the exam, candidates will have to score the prescribed minimum marks.
