Amid efforts for a peace agreement between America and Iran, tension between the two sides has once again increased. On Wednesday (June 3), Iran attacked US military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain with drones and missiles. In retaliation, the US Army targeted Iran’s Qeshm Island and other targets.
US Central Command issued a statement saying that Tehran attacked its neighboring countries with drones and missiles, all of which failed. The missiles fired by Iran in Kuwait either did not reach the target or were destroyed on the way. Three missiles fired at Bahrain were also intercepted by the US and Bahrain air defense systems.
US Central Command posted on Twitter, saying, ‘Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has claimed that they attacked the headquarters of the US 5th Fleet in Bahrain and a US airbase located in the region with missiles and drones. This claim is completely false. All Iranian attacks on American forces failed. The US military is alert and ready to defend against any aggression by Iran.

After the attack, alarms are being sounded in Kuwait, instructions have been issued to people to follow security instructions. Kuwait Army posted on social media platform X and wrote, ‘The Kuwaiti air defense system is currently facing missile and drone attacks. If an explosion is heard then it is the result of the air defense system intercepting the attacks. Everyone is appealed to follow the safety instructions issued by the concerned authorities.
