Even after the ceasefire between America and Iran, attacks are being seen from time to time. Due to this, tension is increasing in the Middle East. On the other hand, Iran has again become nervous due to the threat of Israeli attack on Lebanon’s capital Beirut. Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi says that an attack on Beirut would mean a complete resumption of war.
What will Iran do if Beirut is attacked?
According to a report by Al Jazeera, the Iranian Foreign Minister clearly says that Tehran has made it clear that it will not remain silent in the face of the attack on Beirut. In an interview with Lebanese news outlet Al-Mayadeen, Abbas Araghchi said that any attack on Beirut would have serious consequences and would lead to a resumption of war. He further said that at the time when Israel threatened to attack the areas around Beirut, we took an important stand and the Iranian army has been fully alerted for a retaliatory attack.
Israeli army had threatened to bomb
Let us tell you that the Israeli Army (IDF) had threatened to bomb the southern outskirts of Beirut as part of its increasing military campaign, but Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he has secured a commitment from both Israel and Hezbollah to stop fighting and he called this step a diplomatic success which has stopped Israel’s extensive campaign.
What did Araghchi say about peace talk?
Regarding peace talks with America, Iranian Minister Araghchi says that contact with Washington has not been lost. Araghchi told Lebanon’s Al Mayadin that contact with America has not been lost, but there has been no progress in talks. The Iranian Foreign Minister said that both sides are studying the documents exchanged.
