A war situation appears to be brewing again between America and Iran in the Middle East. Pakistan is said to be trying to become a Caliphate in lasting peace between the two countries, but it is also betraying Iran through the back door. A report claimed that while meeting US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Ishaq Dar had shared information related to Iran’s nuclear program. Now Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has given clarification on this matter.
Claim to share secret information with US
Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met Marco Rubio on May 29 during his visit to Washington, where the two discussed bilateral cooperation as well as regional security issues. According to Dawn’s report, former US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) analyst Larry Johnson had claimed that in Ishaq Dar’s conversation with Rubio, there was a long discussion on what Iran is willing to do to maintain its independence. During this time, Rubio became very tense.
Marco Rubio gave information to the US Parliament
Marco Rubio had also responded to this issue in the US Parliament. US MP Scott Perry asked him whether Ishaq Dar gave the message that Iran is ready to demonstrate nuclear weapons if the current tension continues. On this, Rubio said, ‘I have not seen that reporting and I am not aware of any such message.’
Shahbaz government gave clarification
Pakistan’s Foreign Office on Thursday (June 4, 2026) denied reports that Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar shared any information about Iran’s nuclear program during his meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. PAK Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said that no such information was shared with America.
During Ishaq Dar’s US visit, Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi had praised Pakistan’s constructive role in regional diplomacy and appealed to it to continue efforts to reduce tensions. At the same time, Ishaq Dar said that it is necessary to maintain the ceasefire to avoid breaking the existing agreements. According to the statement, both the leaders agreed to maintain contact. This conversation took place at a time when the regional peace process is under pressure due to conflicts related to Iran-America and Lebanon.
