Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has started the online application process for Excise Constable Recruitment 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for this vacancy by visiting the official website of the Commission. The last date to apply has been fixed as June 24. Who can apply?
It is mandatory for the candidates applying for Excise Constable post to have a valid scorecard of Uttar Pradesh Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025. Without this the application will not be accepted. Apart from this, it is necessary for the candidate to have passed 12th class from a recognized board or institute. Only those candidates who fulfill the prescribed educational qualification will be able to participate in the recruitment process.
What is the age limit?
The minimum age for recruitment has been fixed at 18 years, while the maximum age limit has been fixed at 40 years. According to government rules, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and other reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per rules. Age will be calculated on the basis of cut-off date decided by the Commission.

How much application fee will have to be paid?
The application fee for this recruitment has been kept the same for all categories of candidates. Candidates of General, OBC, SC, ST and all other categories will have to deposit an application fee of Rs 25. The Commission has clarified that the application form will not be accepted without depositing the application fee. Therefore, candidates must pay the fee while completing the application process.

Candidates can easily apply online sitting at home. For this they will have to follow some easy steps. First of all go to the official website of UPSSSC upsssc.gov.in. After this, click on the “Live Advertisement” section available on the home page. Now open the “New Registration” link given under the respective recruitment advertisement. After this the candidate will have to enter his personal, educational and other necessary information. After filling all the details, upload the scanned copies of the required documents. After this the candidates will have to submit the form.
