Gautam Adani Per Day Earning: The year 2026 was very profitable for veteran businessman Gautam Adani, while it was loss-making for Mukesh Ambani. A recent report of Bloomberg Billionaires Index has revealed that this year Gautam Adani has earned an average of Rs 1897 crore every day. At the same time, Mukesh Ambani has lost an average of Rs 1352 crore daily.
Adani became the richest in Asia
Due to earning such a huge amount of money daily, Gautam Adani has once again become the richest man in Asia by defeating Mukesh Ambani. In the Bloomberg Index, he is currently ranked 19th in the list of the world’s richest people, while Mukesh Ambani has slipped one place to 20th.
What was the source of income?
According to the recent report of June 2026, EBITDA (Operating Profit) of Adani Portfolio reached all-time high of Rs 94834 crore. Adani Group focused on infrastructure and green energy sector. Among these, Adani Group’s annual investment was Rs 1.53 lakh crore, which is the highest compared to any Indian company. Due to this, investors’ confidence in their shares remains constant and the market cap is increasing rapidly.
Why did Ambani suffer loss?
A large part of Mukesh Ambani’s income comes from Reliance Industries, which runs the world’s largest oil refining complex. This business of Ambani group has been hurt due to the increasing tension in the Middle East. Due to this, foreign investors are also withdrawing money from big and Nifty-weighted companies like Reliance and moving to other stock markets, due to which the shares are falling sharply.
If the performance of Reliance’s petrochemicals, oil or retail sector in any quarter is not as per market expectations, then the share price falls by 2-3% in a single day. Since Reliance’s market cap is very large, even a mere 2% decline reduces Ambani’s net worth by thousands of crores of rupees.
