Netanyahu is failing the peace plan with Iran, not listening to his friend Donald Trump

It has been almost 4 months since the US-Israel war with Iran started. Till now there has been no complete stop to this war. Despite America’s ceasefire with Iran, attacks are taking place intermittently from both sides. The latest case is of June 7. Fighting between Israel and Iran flared up again for about 12 hours, when both countries once again attacked each other with missiles.

US President Donald Trump has emphasized that both sides, Israel and Iran, want an immediate ceasefire. The US President does not want to restart the war which America and Israel together fought against Iran for 40 days, due to which the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz was imposed, which is still going on and due to this, a huge increase in global energy prices is being seen across the world. In India too, inflation is increasing due to the increasing oil prices.

Trump failed to control Israel
According to The Economist report, Trump has failed to control his Israeli ally and persuade Iran for a permanent ceasefire. Netanyahu has disobeyed the orders of the US President twice so far. First of all, on June 7, Israel attacked the Lebanese capital Beirut and bombed the offices of Hezbollah. Less than a week before this, Trump had implemented a limited ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, in which Israel was prohibited from attacking Beirut.

After this, Iran fired 11 missiles towards Israel in defense of Hezbollah, but it caused no damage. After this, Trump said in a conversation with Axios that he would call Netanyahu and ask him not to retaliate, but this did not happen. For the second time, the Israeli PM ignored Trump’s instructions and fired ballistic missiles at Iran and targeted Iran’s defense bases and a petrochemical plant.

Trump tried to impose ceasefires on Israel over both Lebanon and Iran, but failed. Speaking to the Financial Times, Trump has claimed that Netanyahu will have no option but to accept any agreement with Iran. Now I take all the decisions but he doesn’t.

Israel is being considered guilty in Iran too
Some officials in Iran are also blaming Israel for not having a permanent ceasefire. According to recently leaked information from the Pentagon, Israel is spying on people close to Trump, including his personal envoy Steve Witkoff. Netanyahu will have to face elections by October and due to no decisive result in the war that has been going on for almost 3 years, Netanyahu and his allies are facing severe criticism.

Since Trump announced a ceasefire with Iran on April 8, Israel has attempted to isolate the Lebanese front from the Iranian front and continue its campaign against Hezbollah. Making an agreement with Iran is a priority for Trump, but due to the Israeli attack he is not able to succeed completely in it.

Fear of losing America
As far as Israel is concerned, it has once again proved that it can hit its targets across the Middle East from Beirut to Tehran, but it has failed to convert it into a strategic advantage. What is even more dangerous is that because of all this Israel is running the risk of losing its American ally.
