The teams of Bangladesh and Australia are facing each other for the second ODI at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. After losing the first ODI of the series, Australia made a shameful record in the second match also. Australia, who came to bat first in the match, lost 3 wickets without scoring any runs. With this Australia made a shameful 23 year old record in its name.
Earlier in 2003, a team had lost 3 wickets for 0 runs. Now after 23 years, Australia has got its name written on this shameful record. The interesting thing here is that this incident happened with Bangladesh in 2003, when Chaminda Vaas of Sri Lanka wreaked havoc by taking a hat-trick in the World Cup match.
Australia lost 3 wickets in 2 overs, account not opened
In the match, Australia won the toss and decided to bat. Matthew Short, who came to open for the team, became the victim of Taskin Ahmed on the fourth ball of the first over without opening the account. Taskin bowled and sent Short to the pavilion.

Australia lost in the first ODI
In the first ODI of the series, Bangladesh defeated Australia by 86 runs under DLS. This was only the second time that Bangladesh had defeated Australia in an ODI match. Bangladesh defeated Australia for the first time in ODI in 2005. In this way the Bangla team had repeated its 21 year old history. Now in the second ODI the condition of Kangaroo team itself looked bad.
