Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has clarified the picture.

On Friday (June 12, 2026), Samrat Chaudhary said that Panchayati Raj Minister Deepak Prakash is still a minister and will remain a minister in future also. Samrat Chaudhary was addressing a program in Patna organized on the completion of 12 years of the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

‘Bihar is continuously getting support from the Centre’

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Bharatiya Janata Party has worked to fulfill whatever resolution it put before the country since the time of Jan Sangh. He said that Bihar is getting continuous support from the Central Government, which has given momentum to the development works.

Samrat Chaudhary said that today Bihar is among the leading states of the country, where electricity has reached every village and rural road connectivity has improved. The Chief Minister said that the construction of 7 new bridges on river Ganga has been completed and 7 more bridges are under construction. Apart from this, new bridges and connectivity projects have also been expanded on major rivers like Kosi, Gandak, Son, Bagmati and Falgu. Projects like Aonta-Simaria Ganga Bridge and Patna-Ara-Sasaram Four Lane Corridor have given new strength to the connectivity between North and South Bihar.

Referring to other achievements, the CM said that work is going on rapidly towards expanding air connectivity to Patna, Darbhanga and Purnia as well as Saharsa, Birpur, Muzaffarpur, Raxaul, Valmikinagar and other places in Bihar. Initiatives are also being taken towards developing new airstrips in Rajgir, Sasaram and Kaimur areas and in future, a wide network of airports, helipads and airstrips will be developed as per requirement.

‘Historical decisions taken in the field of industry’

The Chief Minister said that a historic decision has been taken to encourage industries. Earlier, 33-34 different types of approvals had to be taken to set up an industry, but now a time limit of 30 days is being set. If any investor applies, the necessary approvals will automatically be available to him within the stipulated period.

He said that earlier there were 9-10 medical colleges, now 15 medical colleges are operating. 21 new government medical colleges are under construction. Similarly, CM told many more about other achievements.
