3. Use calamine lotion and aloe vera gel – Calamine lotion helps in reducing itching by cooling the skin. Aloe vera gel has anti-inflammatory properties, which can soothe redness and swelling. Apply fresh aloe vera gel on the affected area and wash it after some time.

4. Oatmeal and baking soda are also beneficial – Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties are found in oatmeal, which can help in soothing the skin. Oats can be ground and applied into a paste. Apart from this, a paste prepared by mixing baking soda in water can also help in reducing itching and burning sensation.

5. Wear cotton clothes and keep the body cool – It is considered best to wear loose and cotton clothes to prevent heat rashes. Synthetic clothes can trap sweat and increase discomfort. Use fan or AC inside the house and protect the body from overheating.

1. Keep your body hydrated by drinking plenty of water and liquid drinks.

2. Consume coconut water, lemon water, sattu and lassi.
