Who can apply for the recruitment of Nursing Officer posts in Odisha?
To apply for this recruitment, it is necessary for the candidate to have intermediate pass from a recognized board. Along with this, he should have General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Diploma or B.Sc. Must have a degree in Nursing. The candidate must have a valid registration certificate from Odisha Nursing Council or any State Nursing Council recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). This is a district cadre recruitment, so the candidate must have passed at least class 7th or above examination with Oriya language as a subject.
What is the age limit?
For general category candidates, the minimum age has been fixed at 21 years and maximum age at 38 years. At the same time, SC, ST, SEBC and women candidates will be given relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit as per government rules. How much salary will you get?
Selected candidates will be given salary under Pay Matrix Level-8 of Odisha Revised Pay Scale (ORSP Rules 2017). The initial basic salary for this post will be Rs 29,200 per month, which can increase up to Rs 92,300. How will the selection process happen?
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination and document verification. The written examination will be conducted in offline OMR mode, in which 100 MCQs will be asked. The exam time will be 2 hours and negative marking of 0.25 marks will also be applicable.
