The politics of Rajasthan has come to a boil regarding the student dialogue program of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi to be held in Kota today. Both Congress and BJP parties have made serious allegations against each other of gathering or stopping the crowd of students by threatening the coaching and hostel operators.
Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has directly alleged that Kota MP and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is trying to influence Rahul Gandhi’s program. Gehlot claims that coaching and hostel operators are being threatened by phone calls from the Speaker’s office. The organizers are being told that if their students participate in Rahul Gandhi’s program then they will be completely responsible and action will be taken against them.
Instead of threatening, leaders should respect the opposition. Speaker- Gehlot
Gehlot said that the leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi of the same house where Om Birla is the speaker is going to his constituency. In such a situation, the Speaker should welcome the leader of the opposition instead of threatening him under democratic decorum. He called it an undemocratic attitude.

CM Bhajanlal accused Congress
On the other hand, the Bhajanlal Sharma government of Rajasthan not only denied Gehlot’s allegations, but on the contrary, accused the Congress of intimidation. Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedam said that Ashok Gehlot himself and other Congress leaders are doing the work of intimidating the coaching operators. According to Bedam, Congress is making false allegations so that no one can point fingers at them when the truth comes out.
Rajendra Rathore’s counter attack on Gehlot
In this matter, senior BJP leader and former leader of opposition Rajendra Rathore also made a sharp attack on Gehlot. Challenging Gehlot, he asked under which law and rule he is demanding Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to welcome Rahul Gandhi. Rathore said that Congress’s allegations are completely absurd. If there is even an iota of truth in Gehlot’s allegations then he should present the evidence to the public.
Such programs before NEET re-exam, playing with the future of students – Rathore
Rathore also targeted Rahul Gandhi. He said that by organizing such a program just 3 days before the NEET exam, Rahul Gandhi is playing with the future of the students. They allege that Ashok Gehlot is doing all this deliberately. So that after the program flops, the blame can be put on Speaker Om Birla and BJP. At present, political rhetoric regarding the student dialogue program in Kota is at its peak. Both the parties are busy cornering each other. Congress is calling it an attempt to suppress the voice of students, while BJP is calling it Congress’s frustration.
