On Tuesday (June 16), the maximum temperature was recorded at 33.3 degrees Celsius, which was 5.5 degrees below normal. A day earlier on Monday it was 37.5 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was recorded at 25.7 degrees Celsius, which was two degrees below normal. On Monday it was 28.2 degrees Celsius.

IMD estimates that the maximum temperature may be around 35-37 degrees Celsius on Thursday, 36-38 degrees Celsius on Friday and 37-39 degrees Celsius between June 20 and 22. Talking about air quality, AQI remained in ‘Moderate’ (satisfactory) category with slight improvement. On Tuesday the AQI was 116, while on Monday it was 151.
