India has won the tri series. In the final match, Team India won by 66 runs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi was the hero of this victory of India. The final match played between India-A and Sri Lanka-A was one-sided. After playing first, India-A had scored 377 runs for 9 wickets in 50 overs. In reply, Sri Lanka A team could score only 311 runs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a stormy inning of 94 runs in just 29 balls. Whereas in bowling, Yash Thakur and Viparaj Nigam took 3 wickets each.
For India, Priyansh Arya and Vaibhav Suryavanshi made an opening partnership of 132 runs in 8.5 overs. Priyansh Arya scored 39 runs in 29 balls. 6 fours and one six came from his bat. Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 94 runs in 29 balls. He hit 10 fours and 8 sixes. Rituraj Gaikwad contributed 40 runs.
Captain Tilak Verma also scored a half-century. Tilak played an innings of 67 runs in 90 balls. Four fours and one six came from his bat. Whereas Kumar Kushagra was out after scoring 36 runs, Suryansh Shedge 02, Nishant Sindhu 16 and Viparaj Nigam was out after scoring 27 runs. Ankul Roy finally played a explosive inning of 39 runs in just 15 balls. In this way India A scored a huge score of 377 runs.
In reply, Sri Lankan team could score only 311 runs in 47.1 overs. Niroshan Dickwella 25, Avishka Fernando 03, Nuwandu Fernando 21, Sadira Samarawickrama 52, Sahan Archingay 38, Ravindu Fernando 19, Vijayakanth Vyaskanth 39, Mohammad Shiraz 21 and Dulaj Samudhita were out after scoring 15 runs. The Sri Lankan team could not even play the full 50 overs in front of the mountain-like score given by India.
In bowling for India, Yash Thakur took three wickets for 45 runs in 7 overs. Ashok Sharma gave 75 runs in 9 overs, and took a wicket. Viparaj Nigam dismissed three Sri Lankan players for 60 runs in 9.1 overs. Whereas Ankul Roy took two wickets for 42 runs in 9 overs. Tilak Verma also got one wicket.
