This is a very expensive part installed near the silencer of the vehicle which cleans the poisonous smoke coming out of the engine.
When there is any fault in the engine, unburnt fuel starts reaching this converter. Due to which it gets completely choked or damaged. The cost of replacing it can range from Rs 30,000 to Rs 1 lakh depending on the model of the vehicle.
