England Cricket shared a post on social media saying, “Ben Stokes, one of England’s all-time great captains, has decided to retire from international cricket at the end of this Test match. Ben, you have been the most inspirational captain, leader and legend this team ever expected. We love you very much and wish you all the best for your retirement. England will never be the same again.”

The third test match is being played between England and New Zealand in Nottingham. On the fourth day of this test, England captain Ben Stokes suddenly announced his retirement. This test match will be the last match of his international career. Let us tell you that Ben Stokes has already retired from ODI and T20 International. He only plays test cricket. He is also the captain of England in Test cricket, but now the third Test match being played against New Zealand will be the last match of his career.
