Adani Green Electrification Dialogue was organized at the Science Museum, London. In this, Sagar Adani, Executive Director of Adani Green Energy Limited, presented the big vision of the company in front of the world’s big leaders, investors and energy experts. In this program, Sagar Adani said that the biggest need of the world in the coming time will be fast electrification. He says that renewable energy alone is not enough, but along with it, battery storage and strong power system will also be necessary.

In this program, Sagar Adani said that the world is currently facing three big challenges like energy security, cheap electricity and sustainability. He said that now electrification is not an option but has become a necessity. He believes that if countries want energy security along with economic development, then they will have to rapidly move towards clean energy.

50 GW renewable energy by 2030
Sagar Adani said that Adani Green Energy is working rapidly to achieve 50 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030. He also mentioned the world’s largest renewable energy plant being built in Khavra, Gujarat. Here, battery storage systems are being added on a large scale along with solar and wind energy so that 24-hour power supply can be possible.
There will be investment of $100 billion
Adani Group has talked about investing more than $100 billion in energy transition and related infrastructure. It is being counted among the world’s largest private sector investments. The group is betting big not only on solar and wind energy but also on sectors like green hydrogen, energy storage, transmission network, digital infrastructure, nuclear energy.

AI and data centers will increase demand for electricity
It was also said in the program that in the coming times, industries like Artificial Intelligence, Data Center, Digital Infrastructure and Advanced Manufacturing will rapidly increase the demand for electricity. In such a situation, it will be difficult to depend only on traditional power sources. Therefore, renewable energy along with storage can become the biggest need of the future.
Gautam Adani also reiterated the vision
In the recently held AGM of Adani Group, Chairman Gautam Adani had also clearly said that the Group will continue to invest on a large scale to meet the growing energy needs of India. He also announced a plan to develop capacity up to 10 GW in the nuclear power sector.

At the end of the program, the guests were also shown Energy Revolution: The Adani Green Energy Gallery. This gallery has been built in the Science Museum of London and clean energy technology has been explained in an easy way. More than 10 lakh people have visited this gallery since March 2024.
