In Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), on Monday (June 29, 2026), once again the demand for independence of PoK was raised and it was said that PoK is not a part of Pakistan. Also, today the protesters once again warned the Pakistani government about the way food supply was stopped in PoK for two weeks, hinting at asking for help from India.
Sardar Aman Khan, one of the main organizers of the protest, said that PoK is not a part of Pakistan. On stopping the ration, Sardar Aman Khan said that people are sitting on strike in PoK near Tetrinot Control Line on LoC. In such a situation, while indicating to seek help from India, Aman Khan said that it should not happen that the rest of the borders of Kashmir get opened and then Pakistan requests the people of PoK.
PoK Does not need Pakistan- Aman Khan
Aman Khan also made it clear that PoK does not need Pakistan, on the contrary, Pakistan needs PoK. As soon as Sardar Aman Khan said that PoK is not a part of Pakistan, the crowd of thousands supported his statement by clapping. He further said that Muzaffarabad will definitely be independent one day. This insurgency going on in PoK will neither stop nor end.
Protestors have been standing against Pakistani government for three weeks
The protesters sitting at the Idgah ground in Rawalakot have been standing day and night for the last three weeks with 38 demands and are demanding freedom from the illegal occupation of Pakistan every day. Internet is closed since June 5, but even after that the voice of the protesters is reaching the world and Kashmiris living abroad are also protesting outside the Pakistani Embassy. In such a situation, it remains to be seen what will be the next stage of this ongoing rebellion in PoK?
