The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ram temple in Ayodhya will re-audit the accounts of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the last five years as preliminary investigations have indicated large-scale financial irregularities. The re-audit will also include construction-related expenditure as well as jewelery and other gold and silver items received as donations.
